Since we're close to Halloween, so we (the staff) are thinking about something "ghostly" to put up. We decided to put up a thread about Ghosts. So in this thread, feel free to tell us about your scariest experience. Something mystical. But if you don't have one, you can tell about your nightmare or anything scary or frightens you.
OK, starts from mine. It happened when I was about 3 or 4, I can't remember exactly about it because I was very young. I was told by my parents.
One night, I woke up in midnight and asked my nanny to accompany me to go to the bathroom. The bathroomwas located near the living room, so we needed to go out of the bedroom towards the living room.
In the liviing room, I suddenly saw a figure of a man in white sitting on the couch. I had no idea that it wasn't a 'man'. I asked my nanny innocently who that was. My nanny frowned. Actually she couldn't see anything but an empty couch. But in order not to frighten me that it was a ghost or anything, she told me "Oh it's your dad's friend staying overnight."
The next day, she told my dad about what I saw last night. My dad said that it was indeed a ghost, but it was a good one, the guardian of the house that he would do nothing to harm our family. Shortly after my nanny told him, he gathered neighbors and prayed together in the house, hoping that the ghost wouldn't appear anymore.
So what about yours?

I can't think of a story but the one thing I hate about Halloween is the spider decorations. I've always hated anything and everything that deals with spiders so I always try to avoide them. If not then I scream and ran as fast as I can to get away from it, fake or not.

I hate spiders too, lols. But I have loads of stories I shall share some =3.
Okay, this happend awhile back. My family and I had just moved to New Jersey and we were sleeping at my grandma's house which is old. I was sleeping upstairs in my aunt's room and I woke up. When I woke up I saw a dark figure with glasses in a trenchcoat bending over to tie its shoe. At first I thought it was my aunt because she was out often late into the night at clubs back in the day, but it wasn't. And then I thought it was my uncle who slept in the room next to her...but it wasn't. Then I freaked out and ran down the stairs past it to my parents x3.
Another time I was at a friends house two years ago. It was an old house built in the 1800s. We were the only ones in the house at the time and while we sat in the living room we heard somebody walking back and force upstairs as if they were wearing boots owo. We freaked and went to explore all the upstairs rooms, but found nothing.
And then one day I got up early for school to take a shower---nobody else was up at the time. When I got out and looked at the mirror there were two fresh hand prints in the steam with the fingertips dragged downward. I ran to my room.
Then there was this one night I woke up with really bad anxiety as if something horrible was about to happen. Later that morning when I got up for school I asked my mom if there was a possibilty somebody would come to my school with a gun and told her I had a sinking feeling that they would. When I got home, the big news that day was of a big shooting at a college. That was one or two years ago. I'm sure if you're in the US you would have heard of it.
And I would always take the bus downtown to go to the local libaray when I didn't had internet. I had gotten ready to go, walked to the bus stop and then walked home. I told my mom I had a feeling something bad was about to happen. A couple minutes later my sister ran into the house bleeding everywhere after her hand got cut open by a piece of glass thrown into my yard. She had to go to the emergency room and get stitches and if I had gone to the library nobody would have been home to watch my other two sisters since my dad was at work.
I have more stories, but these are the ones I always remember the most :3.~

Whoa...wait a minute, you ran past it to your parents but you still didn't know who that was? That's frightening. That's why I don't want if someone I don't recognize appear suddenly inside the house. I would probably assume that person as a ghost. Yeah I think I remember that. It's that sadistic Korean guy right? He got a gun and shot several innocent people, because he wrote sadistic stories and scenarios, didn't he? The two last stories convince me that I think you have sixth sense.

Yeah. Now, I'm scared to go to a college...owo
I belive I have a sixth sense since I've grown up seeing spirirts, auras, premonitions, and other things like so. It runs in my dads side of the family, so yeah. Although, a lot of people don't belive in that type of stuff, so I don't like to go around talking about incase they think I'm crazy, lols >w>.~

I believe in supernatural stuff. I don't think people with sixth sense are crazy. I think they're lucky, you're lucky, because you have a gift other people don't have. And all you have to do is use it wisely . You just remind me with my friend who have sixth sense and it runs in her dad's side as well. I know someone who has sixth sense but she frightens me. That's my mom's friend. Everytime I meet her, I feel like I want to run away before she says things that's scary. For example like saying. "There's someone standing at the corner behind you." And it just freaks me out. I think if I were her, I wouldn't say that. Because I think that's a little too...showing off and it makes people freaked out.

Nothing like this has really ever happened to me, but my little cousin has!
He is 4 years old now. This has happened on 4 seperate ocassions that we know of, but maybe more. One day my cousin was 3, he was playing the playground across from his home. He was by himself there with no one else nearby. My aunt (his mother) went over and called him to come back. He looked at her then turned to face nothing and said "Bye Granda Mickey"
Now that is very scary, because ...
- 1). My cousin Michael (Mikey) is named after our grandad Michael (Mickey)
- 2). Mikey was born a few months after my grandad died, he never met him!
- 3). Mikey is the only grandchild born after his death
- 4). A freakishly good fortune-teller told my other Aunt this : "You have a nephew who shares his name with your father. And he can see him when no one else can"

Holy spit!! We're gettin good with this stuff! Mine really aren't supernatural, but they were scary. We were in Wisconsin over vacation with my relatives, staying at a cabin on a lake. All in all, those trips are REALLY fun, but this one was a bit different. Usually, my cousin and I would want to go to a horse farm and go riding. Since no one else would come with us, my dad and her mom (my aunt) came with us. Since my dad was born and raised on a farm in Lithuania, he loves horses, and knows how to handle them. Well, we ended up going to this small rickety old place off the road that offered rides. My horse ended up being real friendly, and so was my aunt's, but my cousin's was a tiny bit flinchy, and my dad's was darn right stubborn. We were waiting in the feeding area for the leader to get on his horse when my dad's horse started bucking and kicking away. I watched the horse fall on my dad with utter horror, my cousin almost screaming. My horse stepped away a couple of feet to keep distance and probably from fright as well. When the horse was on the ground, my dad had trouble getting his foot out of the stirrup by the time it got up. My cousin started crying and wanted to leave, so that's what we did. My dad didn't brake anything, thank God, but he got a very sore hip after that. This one's freaky, but funny at the same time! This one my mom told us. It happened when I was about 5 and my sis was 7. One night my mom woke up to the shake of my sister. She asked what was wrong and my sister replied, "Daina hurt her foot." My mom said that I couldn't have hurt my foot and told her to go back to sleep. But then, right at that moment, I walked in, limping on one foot. My mom laughed and sent us both back to bed. Somehow, my sister and I were having the same dream at the same time. Weird eh?

Wow, that is weird owo.
And yeah, I can't control my abilities. It just happens randomly. :3 I've seen spirits, have premonitions, gut instincts, a natural conection with animals ((especially cats)) and can see auras from time to time :3. I don't get real spooked anymore because I've gotten used to it, but it makes for interesting stories.
One time I had a dream me and some of my family members were in a huge wooden hall. Long tables sat on both sides of the room and down the middle was an aisle. I was watching as a procession marched through, wearing outfits in burgandy and brown as well as holding flags with the same colors. When I woke up I searched the colors for the Gleason ((my last name)) family colors in Ireland and they were the same as in my dream owo.
This is kind of funny, but sad at the same time---for me. I had got a very pretty betafish from Walmart one Christmas, but sadly the store has bad quality fish and they never last long. One night I had a dream where my fish, Betabeat, was in a large aqarium and twice its size; barking at me. When I woke up he had died some time when I was asleep ;w;.
And I also have this ability where I can pick up on when people or animals are pregnant or not. One time my mom was sure she was and I kept saying no repeatedly and I was right. And one time we had two stray cats at out old house. The newest one Calico my parents thought was a kitten, but I kept telling them otherwise and that she was infact pregnent. They insisted she wasn't and that Oreo was instead---which I fought because I just knew Oreo wasn't pregnent. It turned out I was right all along too =3. Plus, I was able to tell when my cat, Muffin, was pregnent before she was even showing.
Oh, and I had another cat, Fatty, who was Muffin's brother. I really loved him, he was such a swety <3, but we had to give him away when we moved ;w;---I still have Muffin though ((Oh, and Calico was their mom.)) But, one day he was being naughty and on the kitchen table; which he did a lot and would have to be taken off because he wouldn't listen. So, I stared at him and through my mind told him to 'get off the table ot no kitty treats' and he looked at me and did so x3. Another time he was in my room and my sister was on the computer. She was getting on my nerves, so I said 'Fatty, teach her a lesson.' And he jumped onto the keyboard, pressing the 'power' key and turning the computer off; which got my sister mad, lols.
And before we moved into our new house in early January when my mom was painting our living room, my sister brought up the prospect of painting our room pink and the desks white. I disagreed saying there was no point because we were going to be moving soon. Nobody in my family had been talking about moving, so it came to them as a surprise. Not only did I say were moving, but I was in fact so sure we were moving soon that we shouldn't waste anymore money on the house. I was also having dreams of moving into an old fashioned tan and brown house with a wooden porch. In August we were forced to move and at the last minute my dad called a house and in the same day went to see it. When he came home he said we had bought it, but the real surprise was that it was the same one from my dream those many months ago ;3.~

Wow, you really do have gifts, Selene. I really adore how you can predict things through dreams. I dream a lot, but I have no idea what they mean. If I have a nightmare, probably because I haven't prayed before sleep or maybe because I'm very exhausted. That has nothing to do with predictions, I guess ^^
You see auras? My friend used to have that ability, but now slowly she could no longer see auras. She said that if she saw someone very happy, then the person looked as if she was in some sort of yellow mist or light.

Yeah, I usually see yellow or orange the most. Red as well and sometimes blue. It always seems my aura is an electric blue >w>. Once it was purple. Oh, and I've seen white...I wonder what the colors mean x3~?
But, yeah I remembered another dream I had. My cat Muffin, was pregnent for a second time and I had a dream her first kitten born was an almost white calico. In the dream I named her Whitewing. And my dream proved true~! =3 She was so cute and I gave her the name Whitewing. Though sadly she caught cold and died. ;w; It's the sad truth about kittens...not all of them live. Although, I usually grieve before they die. When they grow sick I can tell if they won't make it or not.~

I'm not sure about white aura either. My friend never told me about it. But she did say that yellow symbolizes happiness.
Wow, I'm wondering how you can tell if your pet is dying and that it won't make it or not. Is it because you can sense its condition?

I guess. I can also pick up on people's conditions as well. That's why I think my anxiety is so horrible, because I'm overwhelmed by those emotions; at least that's what I've come to belive, lols. I think that's why I hates public places because there was so much emotion and I can't describe the feeling...it's overwhelming.~

Wow, I really don't know what else to say. You're supernaturally gifted. This emotion-feeling thing is called empathy. I think only a few people has that gift to feel others' emotions. Hm...I begin to think of the reason why people refuse to be in public places. Perhaps they're just like you, they can feel lots of emotion.
I wonder if you can ignore the emotions on people you feel, so that you can go out in public places.

I think people are able to block out all that stuff if they practice. I guess if I put the time and energy into it I could one day :3.~
