^ Above is a link to another RPsite. When you visit the page look to the right hand side of the Welcome Table. You will see a list of Staff Members. See the Welcoming Committe!

Well I thought that would be a nice thing to have here on OT! For all the new members, The Welcoming Committe (maybe one or two members) will PM them with all the important info on the site (which the Admin will prepare for the Welcomers before hand) and then get them to introduce themselves. (We encourage ALL members to say hello to the newbies so they feel wleocme) And if these new mebers feel welcome, it will make them more likey to stay full-time, make characters and even tell friends!

So that is why I think they would be a good idea!

I'm sure that would make new members feel welcomed and not ignored if the admins are busy maintaining the site.

Actually that's a grand idea. I know I've been on sites where people were like "...what are you doing here?" like I'd intruded or something even though they were begging for memebers. They didn't actually say that but that was their attitude. PM new members! *bounces*
