Hey! I'm gonna be gone for the next two weeks. Tommorow morning, my family and I are heading out for our big Out West trip. We'll be in the Grand Canyon for about three days without internet, then Vegas where I might just be able to have internet access, then Yosemite, then LA where I DEFINITELY will get internet, but might be too busy to use it.  So, all in all, for the next two weeks, I'll be out. After a grueling two day drive home, I'll be back for a day and a half, then will be off again to camp for another two weeks with NO INTERNET AT ALL!! Yea...busy! So, can someone please accept my new character while I'm gone? That would be lovely. Thanks! Bye!! *rides off into the suset* ;D |

I went there when I was 7, but I hardly remembered anything when I was there. All I remember is that casino's everywhere.

Yeah I did go there, but to be honest I spent most of time in the hotel watching TV with my friends, while our parents were going to see a show called 'Jubilee'. Because in Vegas, there're no places for 7 year old kids. We weren't not allowed to go to casinos, which were in every corner of city, so we just stayed at the hotel ;D

Shaaaa!! *jumps out of glittery cloud of smoke* I'm hoooooome!! Whew! After leaving from a party at 1 in the morning, then driving 34 hours straight, I've finally returned. Grand Canyon was TOUGH!! The trip down was much worse than going up! We walked all the way down to the river (7 miles) and my big toe nails turned purple and I couldn't walk right the whole time we were at the campsite!! The freezing fourty degree river felt really good, however, in the 120 degree dry heat. The next day we walked up 4.5 miles to our second campsite and I STILL couldn't walk right!! The last day went fine, but the last stretch was tough because it's so steep. I had a big can of Arizona when we reached the top, and took a looooong shower. Then we went to Vegas which was SO COOL! Our hotel was the most luxurious one I've ever been to! You weren't allowed in the casino? My sis and I were, but we couldn't gamble. We also saw Cirque de Sole "KA" which was AMAZING!!!!! There were, though, a lot of people handing out porn in the streets. That was the worst I saw. Then came Yosemite, which was GORGEOUS!!! Everywhere we went was a kodak picture moment, but the smoke from nearby forest fires obscured our view. All I can say about San Francisco was that it was COLD and HILLY and FISHY. That's about it. ;D Then we went to LA, and THAT was fun! We had 4 days to do nothing, mainly sightseeing and really good shopping, then folk dancing practice for 2 days, then the actual show, then we went home. Well, on friday, I'm leaving for another two weeks of camp. Until then, I'll try to be as active as possible. |

You're so so so lucky, Aphrodite, I can tell you. When I went to America 9 years ago, I wasn't exactly allowed to casinos. In fact our hotel lobby was a casino. But I was thinking that since I was still 7 (me and my friends) that we couldn't do anything in casinos, then our parents told us to stay in the hotel , sadly. When I'm 18, I'll sure go there and try gambling. I watched 21 and gambling looks fun for me (lol though I'm sure I won't be able to do that even though I'm already 18  ) You're so lucky you could go to Grand Canyon!! I didn't visit that place when I went to America, so sad  Well, have fun then Aphrodite. Oh and looks like Helios really wants to come with you lol |

I suppose I am posting this late lol, as usual  anyway... I agree, you are one lucky girl! I have always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon and well in Mexico I never got to go there, though I have been to various places in the USA, ironic, isn't it? I do hope you have as much fun as you did on your previous trip and have a laugh or two in my honor |
