It's been centuries since the Triwizard Tournament has been played, and the European Wizarding community has decided it's time to try again.
With such a dangerous tournament coming to Hogwarts, and whispers of Dark Magic creeping back into Britain, Albus Dumbledore has also hired infamous Auror Mad Eye Moody to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts for the year. The year begins and Hogwarts is stirring with excitement as new students arrive from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang; schools from other regions of Europe, bringing new customs and surprises.
But when not one, but two students from Hogwarts are chosen from Hogwarts to compete in the Tournament, and one being The Boy Who Lived, suspicions are raised, questions are asked, and nothing is as it seems or as you might remember in this twist of a familiar story.
