The Hogwarts Paradox

In 2006, the Sorting Hat went awry. It was known that a stray muggleborn with real ambition would sometimes get sorted into Slytherin, but fifteen in one sorting was unheard of. Not to mention the other "slip ups" that happened that night.

Just one year later, parents are divided over whether the "new" Hogwarts is a good or bad omen, and nobody has even thought about whether this mystery extends to the Forbidden Forest as well.

The Hogwarts Paradox

In 2006, something strange started in Hogwarts. It was known that a stray muggleborn with real ambition would sometimes get sorted into Slytherin, but fifteen in one sorting was unheard of. Not to mention the other "mistakes" that were made that night.

The Hogwarts Paradox focuses on what happens when children are sorted according to what traits they haven't already got. When the aimless are sorted to Slytherin and the fearful are sorted to Gryffindor. When the unfriendly are sorted to Hufflepuff and those that dislike learning end up in Ravenclaw.
