Daphne usually dresses in light dress - usually in light yellow. Daphne's dress falls to the ground but sometimes it's short - under her knees - as in mini skirt just like Artemis' clothing. She's absolutely bare footed but makes herself comfortable in running or sometimes swimming (although she's a dryad, she does swim sometimes with the other water nymphs). As a dryad, Daphne wears a deep green dress she makes herself from combination of leaves in the forest (mostly the fabric she uses is laurel). Sometimes, Daphne appears in the form of a laurel itself.
Overall Description:
Daphne is not as young as you think she looks. You may think she's just another teenage mortal girl, but she's like...already a hundred or even more years old. But she stops aging at the age of 17. She is considered beautiful, but not the most beautiful of her kind. Daphne has a wavy blonde hair that falls to her waist. She has natural blue in her eyes with medium-length eyelashes and arched eyebrows. She has fair, soft skin, and not to mention, her skin was cold, as what a nymph's skin was supposed to be. Although shy, Daphne loves smiling.
She'll look so sweet when her slim lips are lit up into a sweet, slight smile. Her body was tall but she’s not the tallest among the other naiads. Daphne stands about 5’4” tall. Yes she's considered tall. She definitely has petite and athletic body with straight posture. Arethusa also has pointy, straight nose. Daphne isn't as perfect as people would describe about a nymph, being beautiful and graceful without any flaws. She does have some scars and thanks to her clumsiness. A medium scratch is located under her elbow. Daphne always loves flowers but she's often careless, so one day a rose she's about to pick scratches her skin. People would say, oh such a cursed flower, for it has destroyed the nymph's beautiful, perfect skin, now it's no longer perfect.

Personality Description:
Daphne was likely the other nymphs. She was shy when meeting other kinds, like humans or gods. But her she has strong curiosity too, and sometimes that leads her to danger, though she is not pretty much aware of it. If there's a stranger in the forest, instead of getting away like the other nymphs, she'll just sneak and stalk the stranger. As a nymph, she IS afraid of strangers, not to mention strangers like mortals and gods. They are creatures more powerful than nymphs. But she isn't aware if one day the stranger finds out someone is stalking and discovers it's a nymph, later she'll be abducted. It's just her curiosity, right? But it gets danger when it is off limit.
Among her kind, Daphne is a cheerful nymph. Likely other girls, she loves chatting, gossiping, and also friendly to her kind. You can see that sometimes she's a bit childish and immature. In the other side, she's sometimes careless, shy, and curious. Since she serves Artemis, the protector of the nymphs, the dryad often accompanies Artemis in her hunt, and that makes the nymph become trustworthy and good in keeping secrets.

History:
Daphne who was originally a naiad, daughter of river god Peneus, was Apollo's first love, but it was caused by Eros's (Cupid's) arrrow. Apollo had insulted Eros, saying that he was better at the bow than he. So Eros sent two arrows, one with a blunt end tipped in lead that made people reject the first person they saw. The other arrow, a sharp one tipped in gold, made that person fall in love. With the lead arrow, he hit Daphne, and with the golden arrow, he hit Apollo. Now Apollo is aflame with love for Daphne and thus he pursues her. However, Daphne is disgusted by even his name, for she only wants to run free with the animals and has no need for marriage.
Apollo runs after Daphne, telling her to come back, and fears that she will fall and harm her faultless body. He says that he is a worthy lover since he is Zeus's son and says there is no herb that can cure his passion, even though he is god of medicine. But she flees and he keeps chasing her, and he is faster. She can feel his breath and knows he is getting closer so she prays to her father, a river-god, to tranform her shape into something less desirable. As she speaks, she is transformed into a laurel tree. However, Apollo still loves her, and clasps the tree as if it were her.
