●● behind the scene
Your name: Rayver How long have you been RPing? 1 year, going unto 2 this December (But in that time i was made an admin of Bleach Chain of Life site, and numerous other sites...if it counts for anything) Where/How did you find us? Heroes RPG
●● i see you
Name: Ares Age: 23 Type: God Gender:Male Orientation: Straight (one of the few) Title/Position: The God of War and Bloodlust Occupation: Only available for mortals Nationality: Only available for mortals
●● smile and pose
Image of your character: Celeb you're using: Chace Crawford Physical Appearance: Ares is a young and handsome god, handsome enough to be able to seduce Aphrodite the God of Love and Beauty herself. The plains of his face are strong and angular, although his skin is still plump and smooth with youth, his eyes carry an intensity that is only seen in the eyes of seasoned generals who have spent the majority of their lives on the battle field. His body is chiseled perfectly as if from a piece of granite, not marble because that stone is too soft, with rippling muscles sun-darkened from the long hours on the battle field. Whenever he smiles, he only pulls up the right side of his face and when he's particularly amused he shows his white teeth. He possess a weak muscle on the right side of his cheek giving him a dimple.
Ares had a chariot drawn by four gold-bridled fire-breathing immortal stallions. Among the gods, Ares was recognized by his bronze armor; he brandished a sword and spear in battle.
●● the voice within
Personality Description: Ares if anything at all, is one of the most arrogant God's in Olympus. He is easily angered and beyond difficult to calm. During his fits of anger, he doesn't care about the well-being of anybody whether friend or foe. Whoever is unlucky or idiotic who gets on his way will suffer the dreadful consequences. He seas fear as a disgusting weakness, and therefore does not possess it. He fears nothing to the point of being reckless to himself and everybody around him. Because of this. he often charges into situations without thinking them over. He stubbornly sticks to his firm belief that strength and violence can solve any problem.
Ares is a creature of passion and emotion, but this does not deter his mental capability. He is a manipulator on the grand scale and knows how to make people submit to his will. His mind games are cruel and delivered without hesitation, as long as it is a weakness that he can exploit then he will use it without question. He has been known to be able to break the strongest of characters, and laugh whilst doing so. He is also a very accomplished strategist, he can asses any situation on a whim and make the best choices so that he can achieve what he wants...this usually means a bloody slaughter of the enemy. It is not in the planning or the devising of solutions where he lacks, but it is usually with the end in mind where his passion gets the better of him.
He is very insensitive and almost always rude, he is blunt with his words and does not care if anybody is hurt by them...even laughing at them when confronted.
To Ares, people can only be viewed in two ways. Either he likes you and will aid you when you ask him -although not always in the manner that you expected, or he hates you and you should run else have a blade lodged in your head.
He is insanely competitive, and always has to be the best in everything he does. He will willingly accept any challenge and will never play fair. He believes that the ends justifies the means, and all ideas of fairness is just an excuse of the weak.
Ares revels in war and violence. The sight of blood always quirks his mouth into that half-smile and he sometimes puts up to entities against each other just to see them fight. He is very sadistic and cruel in his methods, but ultimately he is not evil...mainly excessively radical...yet that is still a grave understatement.

Dislikes: Being shown-up Peace Diplomacy Hephaestus Athena Athens Losing
Strengths: His iron-clad confidence and determination make him dangerous adversary. He can wield any weapon with expert skill His strength in great even for the standards of a God. He can translate any situation into the context of war, and rightfully address it so. His manipulative and mind game skills are enough to be able to break the strongest willed. He fears absolutely nothing. Weaknesses: He is very closed-minded and stubborn He is easily swayed by passion He is quick to anger and nearly impossible to calm He is much too arrogant to see reason He can never accept if he is wrong He also does not lose with grace and dignity
Powers/Abilities: Ares possesses the typical powers of an Olympian, including superhuman strength, speed, durability, and reflexes, and virtual immortality, though some of his powers are substantially greater than most other Olympians.
Like all Olympians, Ares is superhumanly strong, though far more so than the majority of his race. Among the Olympians, his strength is equaled only by his uncles,Poseidon and Hades, and is exceeded only by his father, Zeus, and his half-brother, Hercules. Ares' body generates almost no fatigue toxins during physical activity, granting him almost limitless superhuman stamina in all physical activities. Ares' body is also highly resistant to physical injury. He can withstand great impact forces, temperature extremes, and falls from great heights without being injured. However, also like all other Olympians, he can sustain injury. He has been injured by magical attacks from the likes of Zeus. However, Ares' godly life-force enables him to rapidly recover from most injuries in a short period of time. Ares is functionally immortal in the sense that he is immune to the effects of aging and hasn't aged since reaching adulthood. He is also unaffected by any known disease or infection.
Ares can project flames from any part of his body, although his favorite is from his mouth. Apart from being able to project them, he is able to manipulate them to his will, bending and shaping them into whatever he desires.
He can incite emotions of anger and bloodlust into mortals and immortals alike, although slightly more difficult with the latter. He can delve into the minds of his enemies and also control the weak of will.
He can teleport over vast distances, usually accompanied with an explosion of flames. He can open voids into the vast spaces of the cosmos and throw his enemies into them.
He is able to move objects with his mind, and change his shape at will. He is also able to materialize any form of weapon from thin air...all weapons he create are extremely powerful and indestructible by mortal means, however they carry a cruse that makes it's user hunger for battle and bloodshed.
●● story of my life
Spouse/Lover: Aphrodite (Lover) Marital status: Single Family: Deimos, "terror", and Phobos "fear", were his companions in war children, born by Aphrodite. The sister and companion of murderous Ares was Eris, goddess of discord or Enyo, goddess of war, bloodshed and violence. He was also attended by the minor war-god Enyalius, his son by Enyo. The presence of Ares was accompanied by Kydoimos, the demon of the din of battle, as well as the Makhai (Battles), the Hysminai (Manslaughters), Polemos (a minor spirit of war). His sister Hebe also drew baths for him.
History:
Ares the only son of Zeus and Hera. When Ares was wounded. (even as an immortal) he would run back to his father, Zeus and was healed. Zeus did not like him much Probably because his brother Hephaestus (Vulcan) was born to Hera with out Zeus.
Ares had always been the rebel of the family, going against what his father had ordered. He always accepted the punishment with a wry and mocking smile, only to not learn his lesson in the end.
Ares, the Greek god of war, is tall and handsome, but vain and cruel. When Ares heard battle he put on his gleaming helmet, and leap into his war chariot. With his sword, he rushed into the thick of battle, unconcerned who won or lost as long as blood was shed. A vicious crowd followed at him, carrying with them Pain, Panic, Famine and Oblivion.
Ares seemed to have no other interest than war, except for the fling with his brother's wife, that far from ended well.
Ares and Aphrodite were dallying together when their interlude was rudely interrupted. You see, the god of the Sun, Helios, from whom little, if anything, could be kept secret, spied the pair in enjoying each other one day. Helios promptly reported the incident to Hephaestus, who was understandably angry. Hephaestus contrived to catch the couple "in the act", and so he fashioned a net to snare the illicit lovers. At the appropriate time, this net was sprung, and trapped Ares and Aphrodite locked in very private embrace. But Hephaestus was not yet satisfied with his revenge - he invited the Olympian gods and goddesses to view the unfortunate pair. For the sake of modesty, the goddesses demurred, but the male gods went and witnessed the sight. Some commented on the beauty of Aphrodite, others remarked that they would eagerly trade places with Ares, and they all laughed. Well, except for Ares, who was out of sorts, and Aphrodite, who, if goddesses can blush like maidens, surely did so.
It may be a human instinct to go to war, but if was expressed, the species would be extinct by now. For the ancient to make sense of this paradox, a single minded god such as Ares was needed. There are no winners in war.
