Overall Description: Nyx has a figure of mystery but extreme beauty. Instead of being dark her appearance is more icy. She had a cascade of silvery blonde curls that shine and twinkle like the stars. Her complexion is a smooth and flawless medium shade. Her eyes are like slate and as deep as the universe. When you look into them you get the feeling of littleness. Every thing about her is very put together, far away, and extremely powerful. But she does not seem to carry raw power like Zeus. Her power is subtle and shadowed. The goddess is graceful and her bearing is light for walking the stars. Her face is delicate yet it contains much strength. Her lips bow elegantly under a straight nose. Her grey eyes are lined with long dark lashes and sit under light arching brows.
LET'S GET TO KNOW YOU BETTER ' '
Personality Description: Nyx rarely speaks. If she does speak her words are twisted and fraught with meaning. She speaks in riddles and does not care much for the mortal world, or even the world of gods. She would much rather spend her days walking the stars if it weren’t for love. The goddess of the night is a big romantic. She allows the moon and the stars to bespeckle her dark heights. So many acts of love occur during the night that it would seem the Night and the goddess of Love walk hand in hand but that is not so. The Night is not quick to anger but she is protective, especially of her children. She herself holds great and mysterious power earning her much respect and fear on Olympus, even in the heart of the King of the gods. She does not revel in this fear, it is merely a part of her job. For with the darkness of night do we all not gain a certain measure of fear? She is as old and older than both fear and love.

' ' WELCOME TO MY LIFE
Spouse/Lover: Erebus/Parthenogenesis/Uranus
Relationship Status: Single
Family: Daughter of Chaos, sister of Gaia, Erebus, and Tartarus. Mother of Aether, Hemera, Momus, Ponos, Moros, Thanatos, Hypnos, Charon, the Oneiroi, the Hesperides, the Keres, the Fates, Nemesis, Apate, Philotes, Geras, Epiphron, Oizys, Lyssa, Phanes and Eris.
History: Nyx was the goddess of the night, born only from chaos, and one of the primordial deities; by herself she gave birth to many gods and goddesses. She was also a very powerful figure in Greek mythology and even Zeus would give in to the older goddess’ wishes. Once Hypnos, asked by Hera, put Heracles to sleep so much misfortune would come to him. Zeus was furious that the sleep god had done such a thing and would have done him great damage if Hypnos had not run to his mother.
She was often depicted riding a chariot as she heralded the night, as well as strew stars in the ink black sky. She lived in her Castle of Darkness located in Tartarus and practically always accompanied by her two sons Hypnos and Thanatos.

Roleplaying Sample: Nike could tell that Clio was worried about something and extremely nervous. Her face was really easy to read and her eyes looked almost...pleading. For what Nike was confused about as there was also a tint of pity there. Why must they pity me? I mean yeah I complain a lot but I don't want their pity. Screw pity., she thought grumpily. The fine words of the other goddess slid over Nike not really making an imprint. But she still held compassion.
Relax dear, you really are too worked up. I will not bite your head off or come at you like a storm without warning.
She smiled slightly. A dove, pure as ivory and white as snow chirped softly from Clio's fingers. It really was a good gift. Nike could tell he had a warm spirit and a happy countenance. He flew lightly to her hand and nipped at her fingers affectionately. For the first time in what seemed like the longest time the goddess uttered a tinkling laugh of true mirth. The small bird chirped in response. When she looked up she saw Clio was looking at her directly for the first time and smiling brightly, she seemed happy her gift had gone over well.
Nike smiled at Clio's words. Little did the Muse know the little bird would bring her much more peace of mind and happiness than she knew. Before the wars Nike had thrown banquets and balls and parties of every kind. But now her home was empty and the sound of a knock on the door made her jump. This fear of any company was against her character but had evolved quickly enough after her first few callers. Another being in the house, and such a fluffy and lively one, would be a welcome thing.
Thank you, he's perfect. I shall christen him Phos, for he shall be my light in these darkest of days.
She said, stroking his feathers fondly. But in her mind she was on to bigger things, what did this Muse want? No one came to her house and home without a request. She just hoped that the goddess' gentle nature would not prevent her from voicing it. Nike didn't mind so much hearing the arguments of the calm and collected, it was the ones who yelled she had a problem with.
So Clio, we both know you didn't come hear to give me this lovely bird. Why is it you are here? Don't be shy, I want to know.
