Hey everyone! ;D Just thought I'd introduce myself before starting the spiel! =) My name's Rylie, though most just call me Rye. I'm currently 19 and REALLY glad to be out of high school, lol! I currently go to this University that's in the mountains of the wild west of the U.S. Arizona to be exact. The cool thing about living in the mountains is that it actually snows here, whereas everywhere else in the state, it's really HOT desert, which I'm not exactly a fan of, lol. Anywayz.. I study Psychology and love it! I also want to write novels someday (it's my real passion btw.  ) Some of my other hobbies include painting, writing (RP helps my muse), reading (especially adventure, romance, mythology, folklore, you name it..) Overall, I can't wait to start RPing! Great site by the way and it looks like there's great staff here!  -Rye |

I want to write novels in the near future too. It would be awesome to become an author <3. I'm currently writing a book :3.
And I use mythology in a lot of my works, lols.
I can also agree that rping definitly helps the muse ;3.

Thanks guys! I'm always open for RP as well. No, I don't have a fiction press account, but I do write short stories, memoires, personal essays, and poetry. Some of my poetry has been published, but it's not something I'm going to pursue or anything. I also sell my paintings, though. Here's a pic of my latest finished one (which was given as a gift) if you guys are interested in seeing it. Sorry about the weird lighting, it's the camera flash. I'm really interested in landscapes, especially ones pertaining to Old Tuscany, Thomas Kinkade-like scenes, people-oriented settings, etc... |

Hallo Rye! And welcome to OT! This is Eros/Hypnos/Medeia/Andromache, but you can call me Tongy-bear or Lelin. So yeah, I'm a staff member and I play your brother, how fun! Ooh, psychology! My mother's a psychologist, so I'm always reading psychology books... in Chinese. I love to write stories too, currently with a few on Fanfiction, and one that's been published via a competition by Room to Read. But that's not much, considering that I only wrote up to 800 words  America, huh? Alas, another person is far away from my reach. I live in China, so we're almost antipodes. I'm still at school, but I sometimes feel like I have much more work than the other (older) members here, since I'm expected to go through two sets of exams for two diplomas instead of one by my school O.o' My bosh, your painting is wonderful! It looks really pro! I can draw, but I'm hopeless when it comes to painting scenery. The best ones I've ever did was the one of the two salmon fish, and two replicas of Van Gough. Overall... I think you're an awesome person ^^ If you want to RP with me, I'll have no objections, but I'll have to find some free time. |

Thanks! I really only have two Psychology exams left, so I'm crossing my fingers for those. Thanks about the painting. It's an acrylic, but I also love using oils paints. |

Nice to meet you Rye! Writing is my passion too, though theatre and singing are other great interests to me. Arizona? I've only been there once, and that was only for the Grand Canyon! It IS hot there!! ;D Wow! Your artwork looks awesome! Was that painting inspired from a photograph, or did you just envision the scene? Good luck with your exams! Just study hard and get a good night's sleep! Works every time. Oh! And if you need to know anything bout the site, just ask any of us staff! ;D |
