Deep underground, under the Primatech Facility of Hartsdale, NY, trouble is brewing. Level Five, the home of some very dangerous and powerful villains, is teeming with hatred and anger. The only three inhabitants of Level Five are Cristian Hawkins, a twenty-seven year old man with the ability to create spontaneous combustion at will. Rhiannon Applegate, a thirty-four year old woman, originally from Britain, with the ability to control all forms of hypnotics. And finally, Malcolm Petrelli. Malcolm is the nineteen year old brother of Company Founder Arthur Petrelli and has the ability to give people abilities.
The Company founder are all getting along fine, but rips are beginning to be seen. Some are beginning to disagree and what will the agents at the Company think of their superiors fighting? What will happen when the newest Villain arives al Level Five? And why do these Villains believe that their escape is near?
