About the Roleplayer
Your name: Gemini How long have you been RPing? A year or two Where/How did you find us? I was on the old site
The Basics
Name: Horus Age: Seems about 22 Type: God Gender: Male Deity (if you want to play a non-Greek god):Egyptian Powers: His powers are limited mostly to the sky. In Egypt it is Horus who brings the rains and weather and can manipulate both in favor of the Egyptian people. However he tends to keep a strict calendar and will usually make it on certain days as to keep the natural balance of nature and keep the Nile the most reliable river in the known world, allowing the farmers and traders that rely on it to plan in advance for it’s flooding.
Though being a little far from home he is not familiar with the Greek skies and he cannot tell how his powers will react so far from home.
Strike a Pose
Image of your character: Celeb you're using: John Abraham Physical Appearance: His frame is of a tall and thin frame. Prince Horus’ skin tone is a natural bronze color, seemingly scorched by the hot Egyptian sun and flaunting a proud and noble history of the sands. As for his face it can take many forms, however the most commonly used these days would be his human one as to blend in among the Grecian mortals under the disguise of a trader and to not offend or disturb the deities of this alien land. The face itself is smooth and exotic, consisting of high princely cheek bones and eyebrows that are dark and slightly heavy over eyes looking as if they are more abstruse and mysterious than the Pharaohs' tombs. Then there are the eyes that stand out as probably the most distinguished feature of the body, the dark brown eyes most often noted for giving of a look of cunning and intelligence and if you were to gaze directly into them one might think the were peering into the very soul itself.
As for his other form he tends to take a slightly more intimidating look. His head takes on the look of the noble Egyptian falcon, with a powerful beak looking as if it were made to crush bone and tear flesh from the body. The eyes look as if they are darker than the deepest pits of the underworld, always attentive and alert carefully tracking and registering every move of all within his range of sight.
As for his clothing, he has yet to don the toga and tends to make him stand out in a crowd as a foreigner. He tends to wear a simple piece of linen cloth wrapped respectfully around his waist, concealing his lower half. Horus tends to wear fine Egyptian sandals crafted from a thick piece of leather and tightly wrapped to protect his feet from the tough debris that litter the roads. Finally Horus isn’t shy about wearing his jewelry when in the presence of other immortals; bright and beautifully crafted they look as if they can rival the brilliance of the sun itself. Rings signifying his noble birth decorate long slender fingers confirming his identity as the Prince of the Underworld. Manacles cuff casually around bronzed wrists and a bright and colorful necklace hangs from his neck and covers a small portion of his bare upper chest.
Finally he can take the form of a typical falcon, as opposed to his real form previously mentioned above which is human from the neck down. As a falcon he does not look any different from a typical bird of prey, light spotted feathers of grey, white and black coat his body in a beautiful pattern. His wings rest casually upon his back as he perches and powerful clawed talons grip tightly below him as he rests.
Feel the heartbeat
Personality Description: Horus is quiet for the most part, often liking his privacy and never going the extra mile to socialize outside his own group of friends. Though those who are close to Horus often describe him as a humorous and funny guy, who is never is lacking in the anecdote department. It’s almost as if he has one for every situation. It is most often noted that he is a bit loud at times and very animated and loves to express himself with a series of hand gestures.
Even though he may strictly follow his godly responsibilities he has been known to be a bit immature at times. He never knows when enough is enough, especially in terms of wine and alcohol. Horus also loves all sorts of various toys and games and is easily amused by them. Horus has been also known to on occasion act upon impulse without thinking of the consequences or the people he may or may not affect with them.
Also Horus is known for having an explosive temper and an extremely short fuse. He is definitely lacking in the patience department and it doesn’t take much for his temper to turn violent and aggressive. His anger is almost instantly associated with the young god and how in the past it has been used to manipulate him and bring out the worst. Often it is advised not to anger or annoy him in any shape, way or form, unless you have some sort of death wish and are ready to face his horrible and devastating wrath.
Though Horus likes people to think of him as that bad ass Batman-type. He is actually quite a caring guy, he more of a guardian than a vigilante. Never will he take on a demon or supernatural threat for his own amusement, rather he will only resort to obliterating the minions of Seth to protect his followers and the innocent, however he will always go that extra mile to protect the pharaoh, for it is he who acts as the avatar and representative of the gods in the mortal world and bears the noble title of “The Horus Incarnate”.
Likes: -Drinking -Gambling -Fighting -Vengeance -Traveling -Mortals Dislikes: -Demons -Seth -The wicked -Evil Strength: He is an intelligent person and can often talk his way out of most situations in that traditional “street rat fashion”. His cunning comes in most handy when he needs to manipulate others and when acting as a kind of diplomat for the Egyptian gods. This all goes without saying that he has an extensive knowledge of various subjects that extends over many fields. Weaknesses: Though Horus is gifted with a cunning mind, unfortunately it has been documented in the past that he is easily flattered and manipulated. He can be talked into just about anything if the right words are said. Also as previously mentioned he has a very short fuse and it does not take much for him to get pissed off.
Story of my Life
Spouse/Lover: Hathor (Lover) Marital status: single Family: Osiris (Father), Isis (Mother), Seth (Uncle), Anubis (Cousin) History: Horus is the son of Osiris, the first pharaoh of Egypt who had been murdered during his reign in a fit of jealously by his brother Seth who desired the throne for himself.
However once Osiris had died it was debated who should govern the Egyptian people. Some supported Seth, while other’s supported Horus. The battle would rage on for some time and Seth had made many attempts to assassinate the young prince, thus forcing both he and his mother to go into hiding until Horus would be strong enough to take on Seth and eventually that day would come.
Horus eventually came to confront Seth and claim Egypt for his own, however Seth refused to back down. So after a meeting of the gods and goddesses it was decided that the two would compete in a series of contests and battles. It was only after literally losing and eye and numerous fights did Horus finally win and untied the kingdoms of Egypt and paved a bright future for them before finally descending into the Underworld with his father and the rest of the deities.
Horus would then live the life of a normal god, drinking, partying, answering prayers and smiting those who crossed him and on the side he’d protect the souls of the dead against the dangers of the underworld and make sure they made it to their final judgment in one piece.
For years the Egyptian gods have had a silent truce with the Greek deities and lived in peace as long as they were not hostile towards each other. It was rare for an immortal to venture out of the lands they favored to visit each other and why they never really interacted, however in recent years the Egyptian gods and goddesses have noticed the tensions building on Mount Olympus, the scandals, the fights and the conflicts too numerous to count. Naturally it had Osiris on edge believing that this could erupt into an all out war which could spread well into Egypt. Nervous and too busy to go himself, he would send his son, the proud prince of the underworld to go. Hoping Horus could make sense of the predicament and possibly confirm his suspicions, in the meantime he hopes he can establish Egypt’s neutrality if there is indeed an up coming war and possibly even make better relations between the Egyptian and Greek gods.

Hey Horus, welcome to OT ;D. The staffs are now discussing if other phanteons are allowed in this RPG, since the Olympians are all taken (plenty of Greek gods are still open too, anyway). So it doesn't mean your app is rejected. Come back within 24 hours to wait for the staff to reply and approve/disapprove about allowing non Greek phanteons. Again, it doesn't mean you're rejected. Please bear with us and we'll inform you about the decision. Thank you

Hello Horus, sorry to say but after a staff discussion, we decided to just focus on Greek deity. So unfortunately you can't play other deity god. But don't worry, we still have plenty titans, gods, demigods, nymphs, and mortals open. I appreciate your application, but unfortunately, other deities aren't accepted at the moment.
