You are sitting on a bus, excited and nervous at the same time. Next to you there are other teenagers, all with different pasts, but they all have the same fears, anxieties, and hopes as you. You glance out the window. You see forest, as you have for the last two hours. Could this really be the same state as the world's most famous city? Then a girl, who looks about fourteen, points out the window in the front.
"There's the school!" she shouts. Looking out the window, you see that the girl is right. The school is just ahead. A few minutes later, you are getting out of the shuttle. Since you got in, it has become dark. You are lead up the steps...
So begins the journey of another student's experiences at North Ridge. Everyone here comes for a different reason. The school is one of the best in the nation, despite it's isolation. It was founded in 1943 when Annabella Brighton, the last of the wealthy Brightons, died. She stated in her will that she wanted the money to be used to change the mansion into a free boarding school for those who needed it. The money hasn't run out yet, and the school is still free. As such, it draws a mixed bag, from the wealthy to the poor. The only thing required to get you in is that you must 'need' the school.
The reasons that the students needed to come here is kept a secret, so everyone at the school has one. Something they want to hide. Some have abusive parents, some are pregnant, some are orphans. It all depends. But students are dying to discover each other's secrets. Can you keep yours hidden?
