Powers: Hemera’s powers settle around dissolving each morning the dark veil of Erebus that her mother Nyx draws over the earth at night. Thus bringing forth both day and daylight to the world beneath her heavenly feet. She also holds the typical powers which come standard of being an immortal, such as telepathy, being able to teleport from place to place and so on.

Physical Appearance:
Contrary to popular belief that she is tall and blonde, Hemera’s in fact slightly below the average in height coming in at around 5’4” and has long wavy ginger coloured locks. Her face is sweet reminisce of a finely made porcelain doll with pale ivory skin and blue grey eyes that set her fiery red hair aflame. She is slender and slight in body frame, one would think if a strong gust of wind came, she’d be blown away. Her dress style is lady like a bit picturesque of 1960’s fashions during the day and long flowing gowns that trail after her but show of her lovely figure at formal events.

Personality Description:
Personality wise she can be a bit like a contradiction. On one hand she’s one of the sweetest people one could ever meet. Quiet and calm and considered as a lonely lurker at times, she spends most of her time with her husband and only child. On the other hand though once she is crossed she is as fiery and cruel as the flame coloured hair on her head. Especially when it comes to her family which she is willfully stubborn about, she’ll stand up and fight telling exactly what is on her mind.

History:
|The Generalized Myth|
Hemera is one of the Protogenos, the primeval Goddesses. She is Goddess of the Day and Daylight. Her mother is Nyx, Goddess of the night and father Erebus, God of darkness. Her consort as well as brother is Aether, God of the Upper Air the Gods breathe as well as Light. She has one child, Thalassa the literal personification of The Mediterranean Sea.

|Her Version of the Story|
As a child she was raised mainly by Chaos and her parents siblings due along with her brother for the reason that night and day, darkness and light cannot meet up for more than a few moments without causing something drastic. As soon as she came into her powers, she and her mother only meet each morning and each evening at dusk and dawn, each giving and taking light or darkness to the world.

Her childhood wasn’t as bad as one would think, she still grew up with a lot of love and support, but remained closest to Aether who had been her rock before they were born.
