I always end up doing these things last, as I think, "Oh, I wonder if there's an introduction board." and then I find one.
But anyway, my name is Chris, I'm 19, I live in the state of Kentucky in the U.S. I'm going to be a Sophomore in College in the Fall. I'm majoring in English, with a focus on Creative Writing. I hope to be a novelist some day, but we'll see if that actually happens or not.
Other than writing, my life revolves around music. I am a musician; I've played guitar for 7 years, and piano for around 3 or 4. I taught myself on both of them. I play guitar in a band, and we're going on tour in a week, actually, so that'll be sweet.
Uhm, I love anything that has to do with history and especially ancient history. I'll be as active as I can, and that involves being on pretty much every day so long as everyone else is active and keeps my interest!
That's about it!

Ah....can't say that I really like the stuff. However, my best friend enjoys it. Probably the reason for such distaste of the genre on my part is because I have very sensitive hearing and such music actually hurts for me to listen to.

personally I prefer to be able to understand the lyrics and the melody of the music. That of course is not insulting your music or saying yours doesn't have such elements, just the stuff I've heard hasn't. I don't know if you consider this metal but the only song I like relatively similar to the metal genre of music is Welcome Home, Coheed and Cambria specifically for the guitar riffs and drum fills.

eh, I don't really like Coheed that much. I don't like the guy's voice, but the guitar is very good. I listen to hardcore music, but I'm very picky about it. There's very little of it that's not generic, and that very little is what I listen to haha.
I also appreciate music for melodies and lyrics, though. Most of the music I listen to is just constant melodies all the time. And for whatever reason, I can understand screamers perfectly without really trying, so it's not that big of a deal to me haha. But I can totally understand where you're coming from.

Sometimes I do find hardcore music is enjoyable, but I can hardly understand it. But still sometimes it's enjoyable. There's one band that I like, Avenged Sevenfold and it has good rock-hardcore music

Yeah there a few songs of that genre that I don't mind. I'm not sure what exactly is or isn't in the genre since I don't really look into it too often. On a side note, Xenocles, what do you think about making a sub-plot between you me and Hades? I feel an unexplained bond towards you (since you are my brother) my character joins you on your journey/let's you tag along on his and I run into Hades who reveals that you are his son. and I either reveal that to you or keep it too myself depending on whether or not you want your character to learn of his heritage.
